Des Moines County Sheriff Mike Johnstone has a new “toy”, it’s a 23-ton armored truck.

The “Navistar MaxPro” was built for the army to save lives, in the event of an I-E-D explosion, and the County got it for $3,000 which is the cost of delivery.
Johnstone says the massive truck will also be useful in snowstorms.
