A Burlington Fire Department spokesman says a blaze that broke out in the vacant half of a duplex at 12-17 Jefferson early this(Thur) morning is under investigation…probably by police.
Burlington and West Burlington crews knocked down the fire in the rear of the building in fairly short order and those in the occupied apartment got out safely. They were the ones who called it in, around 3:40 am.
