Lee County Deputy Joe Hambleton was injured yesterday afternoon when a deer came through his windshield as he was on his way to another accident.
Luckily, he wasn’t seriously hurt. A state trooper was right behind him and the rollover they were headed to turned out not to be as serious as first thought.
It all happened on Iowa 27, near the Missouri state line.
