The Burlington City Council meets today(Mon) at 5:30(the new starting time for regular meetings) and is expected to approve a pair of subdivision final plats (for Lavender Lane and Wisteria Way).
Members will also be asked to waive the building permit fees for the renovation of Bracewell Stadium.
The Council will set July 7th public hearings for two ordinance changes and an amendment to the Urban Revitalization plan. One ordinance would forbid the carrying of air guns and other realistic-looking toy weapons…the second one will require a posted permit placard at all rental properties. The third amendment would extend, from three years to five, the citywide tax abatement available to home-builders.
