The Burlington and West Burlington School Boards meet tonight (mon), both at 7 o’clock.
On the Burlington agenda is an update on the Master Plan for Burlington High School, but no action will be taken. Members will discuss and take action on their School Resource Officer situation. Police Chief Doug Beaird wrote a grant application to provide an SRO be shared by the middle schools but the grant was denied. The City is offering to pick up 55% of the cost of the middle school SRO.
On the West Burlington agenda tonight are some handbook changes and the discussion of Superintendent Dave Schmitt’s goals for the school year. Again, both meetings start at 7 tonight. (mon)
