West is Best of MWL; Hinshaw Goes Deep in Pinch

The Western Division Midwest League All-Stars shut out the East last night 7-0 and a couple of Burlington Bees played roles in the victory.

Outfielder Chad Hinshaw hit a two-run, pinch-hit homer in the 6th inning…and Garrett Nuss was one-of-11 West pitchers who combined to allow just two hits.   The Bees’ Kody Eaves was one-for-two, with a single, in three at-bats.

The Bees return to Community Field tomorrow night to face the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and you’ll be able to hear the game on KBUR.
