MWL Resumes Play after All-Star Break; Bees Host Snakes

The second place Burlington Bees will be back in action tonight at Community Field, now that the all-star break is over. 

 

It’s the first-of-three home games against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and you can hear all the action on KBUR, starting with Michael Broskoski’s pre-game show at 6:10.   Sunday, the Bees head to Cedar Rapids.

ND 9, Wapello 8 (8 innings)

Fairfield 9, Central Lee 3

Mt. Pleasant 11, Albia 10

 

In high school softball…

Mt. Pleasant 12, Wapello 2

Central City 15, Winfield-Mt.Union 1

Central Lee split with Pekin, losing 10-0, then winning 6-1.
