Burlington Police were called to 1414 Washington Street shortly before 6:30 last night, after receiving reports of an unknown disturbance at the home and a man running around the neighborhood covered in red paint.
The “red paint” turned out to be blood from stab wounds inflicted by another man, and the victim had done similar damage to the attacker, as they fought over a woman.
No one wanted to press charges, but all three participants in the love triangle were taken to Great River Medical Center, the men for treatment of their injuries and the woman for an overdose.
