Kathryn P. Parmeter Dean, formerly of West Burlington, Iowa, died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Silver Crest Garner Farm Assisted Living, Davenport, Iowa.
She was born September 10, 1921 the daughter of John Peter and Ora May Ellis Parmeter. Kathryn married Terrill Dean and he died October, 1996.
She worked for Northwestern Bell for 29 years and was a service assistant at Mercy Hospital in Burlington. Kathryn was a member of the 1st Congregational Church Pioneeers.
She is survived by one son James Coulson of Des Moines, Iowa and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Joseph R., John, George, Edward and Charles Parmeter; two sisters, Marion and Martha.
The memorial graveside committal service will be held at Shiloh Cemetery, Middletown, Iowa, on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 11:15 a.m. Mike McCullough will officiate. The family will receive friends at Prugh’s Chapel from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. and leave in procession for Shiloh Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
