You may want to avoid Mediapolis Road for the next few weeks. A crew has started a grading and re-paving project between 160th Avenue and the west bridge of the double bridges and it won’t be finished until early September. Des Moines County Engineer Brian Carter says the detour will have traffic using Danville- and Pleasant Grove Roads.
