Oxygen Tanks Blow; Woman Escapes

PRINCETON, Iowa (AP) — A woman has escaped flames and explosions of oxygen tanks at her home in eastern Iowa.

The fire was reported Monday afternoon in Princeton, between Clinton and Bettendorf.

Princeton Police Chief Brian Carsten says seven or eight tanks exploded. Firefighters found 10 tanks inside the house, which was all but destroyed by the fire and blasts.

The woman was taken to a hospital as a precaution. Authorities say her husband was at work when the fire broke out.
