No Volleyball at SCC until they find a Coach

Southeastern Community College has had to suspend their 2014-2015 volleyball season for now.

According to a press release from the school, they are still in the process of securing a suitable head volleyball coach.

Head coach Gary Anderson left SCC in February to coach at Iowa Central Community College. Since then, the college has had two rounds of interviews and the applicants didn’t’ meet college expectations.

The Blackhawks currently have three student-athletes on it’s official roster. according to NJCAA rules, they can attend SCC and return to the roster next season or they can transfer to another college.

SCC hopes to have a new head coach by December.
