An 88-year old Montrose man was killed yesterday afternoon when an All-Terrain-Vehicle rolled on top of him as he was doing some yard work on his property.
Lee County deputies say Dale Carter (of 30-57 205th Avenue) was found by emergency responders, still pinned beneath the ATV. He was taken by ambulance to Vigen’s Funeral Home in Keokuk. Authorities say it appears the vehicle rolled back and overturned as Carter was riding up a hill.
