A large sinkhole has emerged at the corner of Valley and Main Street in Downtown Burlington.
The city is still unsure what caused the so called “sink hole”, but they will be working on it and hope to have it fixed by the end of this week depending on the availability of asphalt. Steve Hoambrecker with Public Works says that the last two times they have had issues with the street, the river has been high, but he isn’t 100% sure if that’s what caused it.
