Busted. That’s what local police are now saying about a 35-year old man they took into custody last(Weds) night in the lobby at Great River Medical Center.
Earl Dunn of Burlington, who also has connections to Chicago, is facing an Attempted Murder charge, for allegedly shooting 37-year old Kelon Tucker of Chicago, early Tuesday morning, at the intersection of Acres and 12th Streets, in an argument over a woman.
Burlington detectives and Des Moines County deputies drove Dunn to the county jail to await a court hearing. In the mean time, his bond is $25,000, cash only. Tucker is being treated at the University Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City.
