After a shooting early yesterday morning, more violence broke out later in the afternoon.
Burlington Police last night arrested 46-year old Elmer “Buster” Donaldson of Burlington on felony charges of Willful Injury and Going Armed with Intent, after he allegedly threatened a woman with a gun near the corner of 9th & Cedar yesterday afternoon around 3:20.
He allegedly chased her in his car, then left the scene, came back with a knife, and stabbed the woman’s boyfriend. Donaldson turned himself in last night at about 7 o’clock.
Police have not released the names of the victims in any of the weekend’s incidents.
