Burlington Crack Cocaine Dealer Convicted Again

A Des Moines County jury yesterday found a convicted Burlington drug dealer guilty again of Possession and Sale of Crack Cocaine.

Bennie Lenoir was convicted of four counts of Delivery, one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver, and a violation of the Tax Stamp code.

And because he had been convicted of selling “crack” in 2002, Iowa law allows the judge to tack more time onto his sentence. He could receive up to 120 years on the Delivery convictions, up to 75 years on the Possession with Intent to Deliver, and up to five years on the Tax Stamp conviction.
