The Lee County Narcotics Task Force made two, unrelated, drugs arrests these past couple days.
On Thursday, 44-year-old David Pennington of Alexandria, Missouri was arrested in Keokuk on felony drug charges. Pennington was charged with Receipt of a Precursor for Unlawful Purpose, Second or Subsequent Offense. If convicted he could get 15 years in prison.
The second drug arrest was Friday. 50-year-old Robert Colella of Keokuk was charged with Delivery of a Scheduled 1 Controlled Substance within 1,000 feet of a school, second or subsequent offense. If convicted he faces 30 years in prison.
