The Burlington Bees lost to the Kane County Cougars in suburban Geneva, Illinois last night.
The final was 2-1, when Shawon Dunston, Jr. knocked in Trey Martin in the bottom of the 10th inning. The Cougars have now won 8 straight.
The Bees and Kane County will play again tonight and you can hear the game on KBUR, beginning at 6:10 with the pre-game show.
In boys high school golf today…BHS @ the Iowa City West Tournament. Yesterday, the Grayhounds beat Davenport West, Clinton and Pleasant Valley in a quadrangular at Spirit Hollow. Burlington shot a 314, followed by West with a 346…Clinton with 360…and PV shot a 405.
