Burlington’s hot-mix-asphalt resurfacing program begins tomorrow(Tues).
5th Street from Division to Maple will be done first…followed by Maple from 6th to 5th…4th from the railroad tracks to Valley…3rd Street from the tracks to Court Street…7th from Maple to Division…8th, also from Maple to Division…Central from Angular to Maple…and Dodge from the west dead-end to Perkins.
The Public Works Department says there will be temporary street closures and/or lane restrictions…once work begins on a street, there’ll be no parking within the construction zone until the surface is restored…..and traffic will be maintained and parking allowed in one direction on 3rd Street during construction.
