BHS ACT Scores above State Average

Burlington High School got its ACT scores back, and Principal Tom Messinger was able to give the school board some good news at last night’s meeting…

“The Burlington High School students scored above the state average in all areas. English, Math, Reading, Science and the composite.”

The composite score, as reported by ACT, is the average of the four test scores earned during a single test administration.

Messinger also stated that the average composite score for BHS students was 23.4 as compared to the state average of 22.0.

“This marks the second straight year of this level of success for BHS students.”
