Josh Royer waived his arraignment in Des Moines County court yesterday(Mon) and pled not guilty to First Degree Murder.
The 38-year old Burlington man is accused of shooting and killing 50-year old Eddie Martin the afternoon of August 6th, as Martin rode his bike near the corner of Aetna and South Gunnison Streets on the near south side. Royer was arrested a few hours later and taken to the county jail, where he remains, unable to post a 1-million dollar cash bond.
