Burlington Google Doodle Winner Could Become National Finalist

A Burlington High School student’s Google Doodle could become a national finalist, and she could win a scholarship, with your help.

The theme of this year’s Google Doodle contest is “If I could invent one thing to make the world a better place.” The contest was open to artists in gradees K through 12. Guest judges chose a Google Doodle by Amy Carlson, a senior at Burlington High School, as the winner among all entries submitted in Iowa. The winning Illinois entry came from Yina Wang, a student at Peterson Elementary in Chicago.
