Burlington City Manager Jim Ferneau announced last(Tues) night that he and his staff are on a fast track to a dry riverfront.
In fact, they’re inviting design firms and contractors to submit proposals by the 10th…one week from today(Weds)…and they’ll narrow down the list the week of the 17th. Ferneau says they’re doing it as quickly as possible to give the City a better chance of obtaining federal and state funding.
Council members Bob Fleming and Becky Anderson volunteered to serve on the project review board.
