Fire destroyed a machine shed and a second farm building on (the south side of) Highway 34 east of Biggsville late yesterday(Tues) afternoon.
Henderson County authorities say 8 area departments were called in to fight the flames (including Biggsville, Oquawka, Gladstone, Raritan, M-S-T, Central Warren, Monmouth and Roseville), but they weren’t able to save a combine that was in one of the buildings.
No one was hurt and no animals were injured or killed in the fire, which remains under investigation.
