A Mediapolis teen has been arrested, but a Columbus Junction man is still on the run, in the wake of a stabbing over the weekend in the 700 block of Middle Street in Mediapolis.
Des Moines County deputies located the victim at Great River Medical Center, where he was being treated for a stab wound and other injuries. He said he had been attacked by two men he knows. On Monday, deputies arrested 18-year old Alex Guzman at the home of a friend in the 700 block of Main Street in Mediapolis…..but 21-year old Josh Bergen of Columbus Junction remains at-large and is considered armed and dangerous. Authorities say you should call 911 if you know where he is, but do not approach him.
