Burlington Waterworks will be flushing fire hydrants, beginning Monday.
Over the next three weeks or so, your water may be discolored and your pressure may be low. There’s not much they can do about the pressure, but if the discoloration continues, you’re advised to let the cold water run in a sink or bathtub for up to 20 minutes…and if that doesn’t work, call the Municipal Waterworks office at 754-6501 or the treatment plant after-hours at 752-7611.
