The district says it received more-than-enough petition signatures, so the West Burlington School Board voted last(Mon) night to put two bond issues on a December 2nd special election ballot —
one for $6.75-million to renovate the elementary and high schools…and another to raise the physical plant & equipment levy to $1.34 per thousand dollars of assessed value. A third question will ask West Burlington voters who they want to represent them on the school board, which is short a member.
The polls will be open from noon to 8 pm on December 2nd.
