Colorado Man Rolls Sports Car, Lands on Roof-Top!

A Colorado man was seriously injured early this(Fri) morning in Dallas City…and where he was found sounds more like a plot from a TV show than reality.

State Police say 29-year old Eugene Roy of Pueblo was headed east on Illinois-96 around 1:40, when he lost control of his BMW…ran off the south side of the road and hit a concrete retaining wall. He veered back across the entire highway and ran off the north side, near Birch Street. Roy’s car rolled numerous times…he was ejected…and landed on the roof of a house, while the vehicle kept rolling.

Once he was located, Roy was removed from the roof and airlifted to Blessing Hospital in Quincy. He was later transferred to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

Troopers continue their investigation and say charges may be pending.
