Downtown Partners Has Downtown Parking on its Mind

Burlington City Manager Jim Ferneau announced at the end of last(Mon) night’s Council meeting that Downtown Partners has two downtown parking irons in the fire — looking at some alterations to the current policy…and recommending that a comprehensive parking study be done.

In other business, the Council approved a change in curfew hours, requiring kids and young teens to be home earlier…$4,000 in Starker Trust funds will be spent to help buy some land in Bonn’s Hollow…and the Council will talk some more about snow removal and parking procedures during its November 24th meeting.

City Clerk Kathleen Salisbury was recognized for 35 years of public service.
