No action was taken at yesterday’s(Mon) work session…but the Burlington City Council heard from Downtown Partners Director Steve Frevert about the need for some new parking rules downtown.
The DPI Board is recommending increased parking hours and new…and more…parking signage, to let people know where the city lots are. Mayor Shane McCampbell called it a step in the right direction.
On another front, the Council will be asked to consider the elimination of Saturday bus service. There’ll be a publc hearing on the question November 17th.
