But that’s what Des Moines County Attorney Amy Beavers did…dismissing Senior Assistant Attorney Lisa Schaefer…Receptionist Kay Hagen…and Investigator “Deke” Dideriksen. Yesterday(Weds) was their last day.
Beavers…who had been appointed County Attorney by the Board of Supervisors when Pat Jackson went on medical leave and then retired…was elected to the post Tuesday by beating Trent Henkelvig. She’s quoted in the Hawk Eye…a local newspaper…as saying she’ll hire a replacement for Assistant Justin Stonerick, who will be promoted to Schaefer’s position…she’ll advertise for a new, part-time, receptionist to replace Hagen…and she’s working with the Sheriff’s office to hire an Investigator.
