Tomorrow’s(Fri) the deadline and two more people have filed nominating papers to run for Becky Shockley’s former seat on the Burlington City Council.
Eight men have now turned their petitions in to the Des Moines County Auditor’s office and here’s the whole list of who has filed so far: Jim Davidson…Marcques Derby…Leo Hallowell of 20-18 South 13th Street…Kevin Long of 1909 Orchard(both of whom filed yesterday)…Chris Reed…John Sandell…Tracey Watts and Dan Wischmeier.
Whatever the final total is, there’s be a December 2nd primary to narrow the field to two. That pair will then face off December 30th.
