It’s been re-confirmed now by the Des Moines County Board agenda — Supervisors will be asked Monday afternoon at 1:30 to affirm several firings
Senior Assistant County Attorney Lisa Schaefer…County Attorney’s Office Investigator William “Deke” Dideriksen…and Office Receptionist Kay Hagen…..got the “boot” Wednesday from just-elected County Attorney Amy Beavers, who says she’ll also promote County Attorney Collections Clerk Robbie Ford, from part-time to full-time. Beavers said she’d promote one of her other assistants…hire someone to replace him…and turn the receptionist position into part-time.
