Because tomorrow’s(Tues) Veterans Day, the Des Moines County Board will meet today(Mon) at 1:30 at the courthouse…and among the “personnel” items on the agenda are three firings and a reclassification announced last week by County Attorney Amy Beavers.
The day after the election, Beavers dismissed Senior Assistant County Attorney Lisa Schaefer…Investigator William “Deke” Dideriksen…and Receptionist Kay Hagen, effective immediately…..and reclassified Collections clerk Robbie Ford from part-time to full-time, effective one week from today(Mon).
