Dial to Update Burlington Council on Manor Project

The Burlington City Council holds one of its every-other-week work sessions today(Mon) at 4:30 and will get an update from Bob Welstead of Dial Realty, which is trying to redevelop the former Flint Hills Manor property along Roosevelt and Agency Streets.

Also among the discussion items on this week’s agenda are a state financial report…and an after-school program. Some business to be previewed today(Mon)before next Monday’s regular meeting are new parking limits in the downtown area…a resolution amending the fees to be charged at Flint Hills Golf Course…and a November 29th public hearing on a proposal to eliminate Saturday bus service.

Also on the KBUR news calendar for today(Mon) are meetings of the Southeastern Community College Board, at 5 on the Keokuk campus…and the Burlington School Board tonight(Mon) at 7 at the Administration Center on West Avenue.
