The Burlington City Council talked some more yesterday(Mon) about establishing expanded parking limits in the downtown.
Planning & Parks Director Eric Tysland summarized what the Downtown Partners board is recommending, including a number of 4-hour parking spaces, but Mayor Shane McCampbell has a particular issue with 4-hour spaces, saying they’re handy for those who work downtown, but not for those who shop there.
Nothing is final yet, but it seems clear that the Council will do something to increase the parking limits downtown.
