Southeastern Community College officials will break ground in 10 days for their new Industrial Technologies Training Center in Keokuk.
The 4.2-million dollar facility on the south campus will feature two learning labs equipped with specialized training tools in robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics…CNC…PLC…pipefitting…H-VAC…and welding. It’ll also house multi-purpose computer labs with design and equipment maintenance software. Some of the site work will be done this fall, but full-scale construction is scheduled to start in March.
The groundbreaking ceremony is open to the public and will be held on the Keokuk campus Friday, the 21st, at 3 o’clock.
