The Des Moines County Board…without discussion…has affirmed the day-after-election shakeup in County Attorney Amy Beavers’ office.
Assistant County Attorney Justin Stonerook will take over for Lisa Schaefer, who was fired…..Assistant Todd Chelf will move up…..Beavers will hire another Assistant to handle misdemeanors…..a part-time Investigator will be hired to replace “Deke” Dideriksen, who was let go…..Robbie Ford will divide her time between collections and answering the phone, as will a second person to be hired. Kay Hagen used to handle the receptionist duties, but was dismissed.
