LeeCo Task Force Busts Four

Lee County’s Narcotics Task Force has arrested a Ft. Madison man and three Keokuk residents on felony drug charges.

49-year old Eric Demuynck of 12-15 Avenue G in Ft. Madison is accused of two counts of selling marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school. If convicted, he could get up to 20 years in prison.

49-year old Doug Steele and David & Sara Dean…all of 21-23 Missouri Street in Keokuk are charged with conspiring to make more than five grams of meth, in the presence of a minor and within 1,000 feet of a park. Steele was also served with a parole warrant from Missouri and if he’s found guilty, he could be sentenced to as much as 107 years in prison. The Deans could get more than 38 years each if they’re convicted.
