Nine men are running for one seat on the Burlington City Council and the Greater Burlington Partnership’s Government Relations Committee has invited all nine to a candidates debate this Wednesday evening at Burlington City Hall.
The forum will be held in the Council chambers on the 3rd floor from 5 to 6:30 pm. The public is invited…the forum will be carried “live” on cable channel 18 and on KBUR.
There will be a December 2nd primary election to narrow the field from nine to two candidates. Those two will face off December 30th and the winner will join the Council, succeeding Becky Shockley, who resigned.
