A West Burlington teen was arrested late yesterday(Mon) morning, after he was spotted breaking into several cars and homes on Van Weiss Blvd….Spring Street…and Ramsey.
At one point, police ordered the school district to put its buildings on lockdown, as a precaution. Authorities apprehended 19-year old Jerod Lewis at 610 Ramsey Street shortly after 10:15 yesterday morning and charged him with 2nd Degree Robbery. West Burlington police say their investigation continues and additional charges are pending.
Des Moines County deputies assisted in the search.
