It’s official.
Assistant Des Moines County Attorneys Todd Chelf and Justin Stonerook have been promoted. Board of Supervisors Chairman Bob Beck made the announcement yesterday and both men are getting raises.
County Attorney Amy Beavers…who was sworn in yesterday(Tues) to her first elected term…says there are reasons for the promotions and the raises, and she told the Board her actions have already saved the taxpayers more than $118,000 in salaries and benefits.
Beavers also announced yesterday(Tues) that the E-D-M-S system, which makes filing court cases on-line possible, is now up-and-running.
