Arietta L. “Nan” Barry, 97, of New London, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the New London Nursing and Rehab Center.
Funeral services for Mrs. Barry will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, November 24, 2014 at Elliott Chapel, New London. Pastor James Roth will officiate. Burial will be in ForestHome Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant. Visitation will begin after noon on Sunday, November 23 at the chapel with the family receiving friends from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Memorials have been established to the Iowa Foundation for the Blind and the Activity Fund at New London Nursing and Rehab Center.
Mr. Frederick G. Hartman, 75, of Winfield, died Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Great RiverMedical Center, West Burlington.
Funeral services for Mr. Hartman will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 24, 2014 at Elliott Chapel, New London. Pastor Jeff Duffy will officiate. Military Rites will be presented by the Henry County Honor Guard. Burial will be in Burge Cemetery, New London. Visitation will begin after noon on Sunday, November 23, 2014 with the family greeting friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorials have been established to the Winfield First Responders and Sunrise Terrace Care Center.
