A Wapello teen and a Burlington man were injured just before 7 last(Sun) night when their cars collided in front of the Catfish Bend Casino’s Roosevelt Avenue entrance.
17-year old Taylor Beeding was taken by private vehicle to Great River Medical Center, while 56-year old Steven Johnston went by Burlington Fire Department ambulance. Neither of their injuries was considered life-threatening. City police say Beeding was driving north when Johnston pulled out from the stop intersection to go south, and the two cars collided.
Johnston was ticketed for not yielding.
