Lee County’s Narcotics Task Force and Ft. Madison police arrested a Ft. Madison man Wednesday at his home on a felony charge.
25-year old Roy Vowels of 18-06 Avenue A, Lot #8, is accused of selling marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school. If he’s convicted, Vowels could go to prison for up to 10 years.
In another Task Force case, 25-year old Justin Spurgeon of (14-25 Johnson Street) Keokuk has been charged with Marijuana Possession with Intent to Deliver While in Possession of a Firearm…simple possession…three counts of Possessing a Controlled Substance…and Maintaining a Drug House. If he’s found guilty of all charges, Spurgeon could go away for up to 16 years.
