Authorities have formally charged a second suspect with the December 11th armed robbery of an A2Z taxi driver.
Burlington police say 18-year old Deonte Thompson (of 21-16 Kirkwood Street) turned himself in to the Sheriff’s Department and is facing a First Degree Robbery charge. Thompson and 19-year old Trevon Cribbs of 629 South Leebrick are accused of stealing a small amount of money from the cabbie at gunpoint in the 1000 block of South Starr…and then taking off on foot.
If convicted, each teen could get up to 25 years in prison.
