Yet another robbery to report in Burlington…this one at the corner of Washington and Shields around 10:15 Tuesday night.
A 35-year old woman told police she was walking…and talking on her cell-phone…when a man approached her, threw her to the ground and took her brand-new Samsung Galaxy S-5. She was not seriously hurt and described the robber only as black-skinned, wearing a black leather jacket.
Earlier Tuesday evening, a man with a gun stole a wallet from a man walking in the 600 block of south 10th Street. The robber then took off on foot. Anyone with information about either or both of these crimes is asked to call Burlington police or Crimestoppers.
