A Montrose man was killed late yesterday(Mon) morning when the pickup he was riding in left Argyle Road in Lee County…hit the ditch and went flying across 235th Avenue…landed on the other side and then rolled…before coming to a stop back on its wheels.
62-year old Larry King of 32-33 212th Avenue was thrown out of the Dodge Ram 1500 and was pronounced dead after being airlifted to Keokuk Area Hospital. Deputies say he had not been wearing a seatbelt. The driver…62-year old Patsy King of the same Montrose-area address…was wearing a belt and suffered minor injuries. She was taken to the hospital by Lee County Ambulance.
