Henderson County authorities are investigating a pre-dawn fire today(Tues) that totaled the trailer home at 312 Mellinger Avenue in Gulfport.
Not many details have been released yet about the blaze, which could be seen for several miles in the early morning darkness. It was eventually knocked down by Gulfport, Burlington and Gladstone firefighters, who discovered that no one was home.
An informed law enforcement source says the fire may be considered suspicious.
